Melanie Congleton, began her career as an elementary teacher in South Florida, where she worked in school settings with children who lived in communities with high rates of drug and alcohol abuse.

During her tenure as a teacher for 15 years, she worked with students, staff, and families, educating them about the effects and consequences of drug and alcohol addictions. She has also worked with families to restore their lives that have been damaged due to a drug-addicted family member. Melanie now works as a Curriculum Writer and Developer for public and private virtual schools, as well as non-profit organizations, and continues to help families receive healing and restoration from the impacts of chemical abuse.
